Report & Block Policy
Bobseller is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment for all users. This policy explains how you can report inappropriate content or behavior, how to block other users, and how our moderation team handles violations.
1. When to Report a User or Listing
You should report content or users if you notice:
- fraudulent or illegal activity
- harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
- misleading, dangerous, or prohibited listings
- attempts to move transactions off‑platform for scams
- requests for sensitive personal information
- spam, phishing links, or malicious content
- impersonation of individuals or businesses
2. How to Report a Listing
You can report a listing directly from the listing page:
- tap the “Report” button
- select the reason for your report
- optionally provide additional details
- submit the report for review
Our moderation team will review the listing and take appropriate action based on the severity of the violation.
3. How to Report a User or Chat Message
You can report a user from the chat screen:
- open the conversation
- tap the menu icon
- select “Report User”
- choose the reason and submit
Reports are confidential — the user you report will not know who submitted the complaint.
4. How to Block a User
Blocking prevents another user from:
- sending you messages
- viewing your profile (where applicable)
- interacting with your listings
To block a user:
- open the chat or listing
- tap the menu icon
- select “Block User”
You can unblock users at any time from your account settings.
5. What Happens After You Submit a Report
Our moderation team may take the following actions:
- remove the reported listing
- issue warnings to the user
- temporarily restrict account features
- permanently suspend the account
- request identity or item verification
- report illegal activity to authorities
Actions depend on the severity and frequency of violations. We may not disclose the outcome of moderation decisions for privacy reasons.
6. False or Abusive Reports
Submitting false reports is prohibited.
